WebOct 5, 2011 · The ThinkPad T520 supports a total of three storage devices including the primary 2.5-inch bay, a mSATA SSD slot, and an optional secondary hard drive bay for the UltraBay. Even the low-tech user, with a bit of patience, can easily access all of these drive bays to install a new drive or upgrade an old one. WebUnless one pulls the core and sees those two empty slots, fills them with disc, files the key to fit and while working on the core anyway cuts some nice false settings onto all 8 disks then. Yes only 6 of 8 slot are filled in those cores, I guess to avoid complaints about sticky locks. OTOH, one should not let a ThinkPad out of sight.
