Web21 Jan 2024 · To take them off, first turn off the laptop. Then press down the key you want to remove and slot a thin screwdriver and use its leverage to pry the key off. To put the keys back on, hook the keycap on the larger hinge [pictured below] (make sure it's in the right orientation) and press it down. You shoud hear a click and it should be replaced. WebTo remove the keys safely, you should slightly put your fingernail underneath the left corner. Then carefully pull up the corner that you are holding until you hear the sound of a slight click from the keyboard. Then you have to do the same to the top right corner of the same key, and you will have the key in your hand.
