After searching and finding various diagrams I have not been able to find how the linkage hooks to the carburetor. It goes on the clip but how? Thanks for any help . When a load is applied the governor sense's the rpm drop and allows the throttle to open further to compensate for load. Full power output is achieved under heavy load that allows the governor to open the throttle to full open but due to te load still remains near 3200 rpm.

WebLocate the idle stop screw, located halfway down the throttle lever, and loosen its lock nut. Rest the roller on the throttle cam and turn the idle stop screw until the curved front edge of the throttle cam aligns with the center of the roller. Re-tighten the idle stop screw lock nut. It must have broken when I was wrestling the transmission out or fussing with the bolts. Due to age I think the plastic is brittle. Currently the gas pedal has no "real" effect and the engine is stuck wide open unless I hold back the throttle ontop the the carb. The engine is a Briggs & Stratton 135212 Type 0006 01. lupi serena
