WebbRaman spectroscopy (RS) is a promising tool for skin cancer but limited to low specificity. We present a method to increase the specificity of RS diagnosis using reflectance confocal microscopy images and deep learning. Webb16 maj 2006 · In 1997 M.G. Shim et al. 12 described a fiber-based Raman system and presented in vivo spectra from buccal cheek epithelium, human skin, fingernail, and tooth. Since then, several other in-vivo studies have been done on atherosclerotic plaque, 13 skin, 14 colon 15 and esophagus. 15 For our work we used a new spectrometer, the unique …
WebbNon Invasive. AbstractThe tryptophan to kynurenine ratio (Trp/Kyn) has been proposed as a cancer biomarker. Non-invasive topical sampling of Trp/Kyn can therefore serve as a promising concept for skin cancer diagnostics. By performing in vitro pig skin permeability studies, we conclude that non-invasive topical sampling of Trp and Kyn is feasible.
