Webb7 mars 2024 · I believe the main point for the higher rpms in tow haul is the added airflow to cool egts, lugging the truck down in od while towing uphill makes egts climb real fast, which melts pistons etc the truck probably does pull better at lower rpms since that's where the torque is, but it comes as a trade off with the extra heat
