Web27 de jul. de 2024 · Long load times are a Fallout 4 engine software issue that normally can't be fixed even having the fastest ssd on the planet , that said with mods you can fix anything , turns out load time are tied to your fps :O The vanilla game is capped at 60 by default so you have to break that to make load times faster like 8 seconds at max or so WebJust got Fallout 4 GOTY for PC. Typically with these bethesda games they load super fast. Under a second. Just installed it last night, and even after reinstalling it on my SSD the load times are crazy high. Usually 20-40 seconds but sometimes well over a minute. Only mods I have installed are "Classic Holstered Weapons - v1.04c" off nexus.

Normally going from an inside location to an outside location. Example: When leaving Fort Hagen, the loading took so long that my Xbox series controller powered off from inactivity. Which was greater than 15 minutes but I wasn't timing it.

This should cut your loading times significantly to about 5-15 seconds. Note: This is only for people who've been getting load times up to a ridiculous 1 minute or more. This may also make your frame rate too fast for small areas like when entering a building.
