WebI played gothic 1 and 2 for the first time last year and absolutely loved them. the controls were great, the setting and gameplay both amazing. I've finished both games 3 times each. I definitely had more fun with gothic than skyrim. not having to use a mouse was another bonus, which is also why I played skyrim with a controller instead. WebGothic 2 is intended to be played with keyboard+mouse and, to my knowledge, it does not have native D-Input or X-Input support. If you can remap the buttons and use an analog stick as a mouse on the game pad it should work. That are some pretty big "IF's". There is an App from Microsoft that allows remapping, but to what extend i can't say.
