That will send you to the city of your race to speak with their hunter trainer, and they will teach you some of the other skills, like feet pet. Mend pet is something you will learn around level 12-14ish… so keep that in mind.

I'd recommend getting a wolf for DMT as Furious Howl is extremely good and if you use it properly and move fast your pet won't ever die (well, a lot less at least). WebIt depends. If your pet dies a lot, you have to feed it more often. Each time your pet dies, you must feed him to get him happy and get the damage bonus. Other than this situation, it takes quite a lot of time before you need to feed it. You also must feed him after you stayed afk with it by your side in towns/inns.

He also should be eating food that is level appropriate. So if you are level 12 feeding him level 5 food it has less effect than food that is level 10.
